A war elephant was a military elephant that had been trained and guided by humans. The main purpose of the war elephant was to assault the enemy, break their ranks, and terrorise and terrify them. Elephantry refers to military formations that use elephants to transport troops. [1] In antiquity, war elephants played a crucial role in a number of significant wars, particularly in Ancient India. While they were only used on a limited and irregular basis in ancient China, they were a permanent staple in the armies of historical Southeast Asian kingdoms. They were also used in ancient Persia and the Mediterranean globe by Macedonian troops, Hellenistic Greek nations, the Roman Republic and later Empire, and Carthage in North Africa during classical antiquity. Throughout the Middle Ages, they had a strong presence on the battlefield in several areas. Ajay Mishra insults journalists: When asked about his son Ashish, who is in jail in connection with the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra lost his temper. Ashish Mishra, the minister's son, is one of the 13 people charged in the October violence that murdered at least four farmers and a journalist. According to reports, Ajay Mishra has been summoned to Delhi in response to the opposition's demand that he be fired.

 

A video of the minister shoving reporters and yelling insults has gone viral. The alleged video was taken when Mishra went to a hospital in Lakhimpur Kheri to dedicate a freshly built ward.

When one of the journalists' phones was taken by the minister, he demanded that the camera be turned off.

On October 3, violence in Tikunia, Lakhimpur Kheri district, sparked a political storm ahead of the 2022 Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, among other states, killing eight persons, including two BJP volunteers, and prompting the filing of two different FIRs.

 

 

A group of farmers were protesting against Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya's visit to Ajay Mishra's hometown when violence occurred.
