The Centre
for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday that Remdesivir should be
used only in individuals with moderate to severe COVID-19 and no renal or
hepatic impairment within 10 days of the beginning of any symptom. It also
advised avoiding using the medicine in patients who are not on oxygen or in
patients who are at home. Remdesivir should be administered in patients with
moderate to severe COVID-19 and no renal or hepatic failure within 10 days
after the onset of any symptom, according to clinical guidance given by the
Union health ministry for the management of the infection in adult patients.

Officials
said on Friday that the government's scientific groups are debating whether a
booster dose of COVID-19 is needed, and that they are evaluating all data from

various aspects of booster dose. "There is a COVID working group that has
debated it multiple times," he added, "that those recommendations go

an order dated December 24, all passengers travelling from the United Arab
Emirates who are Mumbai residents would be subjected to a seven-day home
quarantine upon arrival in the city. Travellers from Maharashtra who do not
live in Mumbai will be transported by a collector who will organise
transportation for them. The directive specified that these travellers would
not be permitted to use public transportation. Travellers with connecting
flights to other states or portions of Maharashtra would be allowed to catch
the connecting flight, however it is the obligation of the Airport Authority to
notify the respective Airport Officer about the passengers arriving from Dubai,
according to the statement.All visitors arriving from Dubai who are Mumbai
residents will be placed in home quarantine for seven days and will be
monitored by the Ward War Room. RT-PCR will be performed on the seventh day. If
the test is negative, the traveller will continue to self-monitor for another 7
days; however, if the test is positive, the tourist will be placed to
institutional quarantine in accordance with current international travel norms.

an official, the COVID-19 tally in Goa reached 1,79,965 on Friday after 67
